Idea toLaunch

[ Brand · Web · Campaign · Motion ]

I help brands look sharp and work hard, from the first sketch of a logo to the site that launches it. Twenty-plus years across agencies, sports teams and my own studio means I can lead the idea and build it too, so nothing gets lost between the pitch and the finished thing.

Where I Help

001

Web Design & Development

I design sites and build them myself on whatever platform fits the job: WordPress, Webflow, Vercel or fully custom. Fewer handoffs, nothing lost between the mockup and the live site.

002

Brand Identity & Logo Design

A mark should earn its keep. I build identities around one clear idea, then carry it through type, color, pattern and every place the brand shows up.

003

Campaign & Advertising Creative

Years of agency work on Ford taught me how to take one idea everywhere at once. Broadcast, digital, social and print, all telling the same story.

004

UX & E-commerce

Looking good is the start. I map how people move through a site so they find what they came for and get through checkout without a fight.

Environmental, Retail & Live Events

Some of my favorite work lives off the screen: stadium walls, in-arena boards, retail displays and packaging that hold up at full size, for the Chiefs, Royals, Nuggets, Avalanche and Outward Hound.

Motion & Interaction

Movement is what people remember. I storyboard and animate spots, and add the small moments on a site that make people stop and play.

How I Work

Design

We start with the idea. I dig into your goals, sketch a few directions and land on one we're both excited about before anything gets polished.

Build

Then I make it real, in code, in print files or on set. You see progress as it happens, not just a big reveal at the end.

Launch

We ship it clean and on time. After launch I stick around to tune it, measure it and help it grow.

Kind Words

Josh is almost too talented. He’s a unicorn, an octopus, a humble genius, an extraordinary human. I’ve had the pleasure of working on at least four significant builds and counting, and he is absolutely our secret weapon.

Ask Me Directly
001What do you actually do?

I'm a creative director who also designs and builds. Most projects are some mix of brand identity, a website and the campaign or launch work around it. You get one person from the first idea to the finished thing.

002How does a project start?

With a short call. You tell me what you're trying to do, I ask a lot of questions, and then I send a simple proposal with scope, timeline and price. Once that's signed, we kick off.

003How long does a project take?

A focused brand identity usually takes three to six weeks. A marketing site runs four to ten weeks, depending on pages and content. You'll get a real schedule in the proposal, not a guess.

004Can my team update the site after launch?

Yes. Whether it's WordPress, Webflow or something custom, I set up the CMS around your content so your team can add pages, posts and projects without calling me. I walk you through it at handoff, and I'm around after launch if you need a hand.

005Do you work with agencies or directly with brands?

Both. I partner with agencies as a creative director or an extra senior hand, and I work directly with brands that want one person who can lead the idea and build it.
